Aleksandra Kossowska – Photojournalist Based in Warsaw

By education I am an archaeologist and a journalist - I graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at the University of Warsaw, specializing in reportage.

I am a photojournalist for EAST NEWS agency, a member of the international association of female photojournalists WOMEN PHOTOGRAPH and and a graduate of the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava,Czech Republic, where I earned my B.A. with distinction. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree at the same institution.

My ongoing collaborations include Polish photo agencies as well as humanitarian organizations such as SmartAid, STEMpower, Drop in the Ocean, and the Little Brothers of the Poor Association.

I am the founder and co-owner of poleczki.art studio and art gallery in Warsaw.

My work focuses on human experience, perception, and social invisibility. Current documentaries include:- disappearing professions- disappearing festive traditions from Central and Eastern Europe- education for disabled

- European migrant crisis
